Supply Chain Executive

Reports to: Supply Chain Planner


The role of the Supply Chain is mainly an office based role within the pharmaceutical sector.

The role is to primarily undertake the management of serialisation and tackling counterfeits, maintain the stock through the end- to –end supply chain by managing the stock ordering process, in hand stock and all customer order processing and administration on MRP.


  • Set up, validate the master data and highlight any missing data from the CMOs through internal templates uploading onto secured cloud data storage
  • Input all data onto client’s system within the agreed time frame making sure the client KPIs are met
  • Hand off data to local regulatory body as needed
  • Provide reporting support and analysis as required
  • Trouble shoot all issues within the supply chain relevant to serialisation, tackling the counterfeits
  • Work closely with the CMOs, Distributors, Regulatory, Artwork, and IT team to solve issues related to artwork or packing supply and implement process to continuously improve on efficiency
  • Place orders on contract manufacturers in line with prevailing lead times, batch sizes and cost of goods
  • Provide early warning of impending products or stock problems to internal colleagues
  • Manage stock inventory applying first in, first out principles where possible
  • Maintaining overall stock value within the prevailing limit
  • Minimise the value of stock write offs through active stock management and communications
  • Circulate stock management reports in accordance and timely manner
